The J. S. Bach Foundation is performing the complete vocal works of Johann Sebastian Bach over the course of around 25 years. Each month, one of Bachs over 200 cantatas is performed in the town of Trogen, in Switzerlands idyllic canton of Appenzell. Bach Kantaten N5 contains three cantatas: ""Schmcke dich, o liebe Seele"" (Deck thyself, O soul beloved), Cantata BWV 180; ""Am Abend aber desselbigen Sabbats"" (That evening, though, of the very same Sabbath), Cantata BWV 42 and ""Gloria in Excelsis Deo"" (Glory be to God on high), Cantata BWV 191.
