An exciting blend of some of the best Americana songs and musical styles! Inspired by heroes such as Tom Waits, JJ Cale, Van Morrison and Pops Staples a.o., Singer-Songwriter Kevin Connolly (voted “Best of Boston”) has put together a powerful approach to playing their songs together with several complimentary originals. Covering blues, soul, rock and country, Kevin Connolly and Mule Variations (Kevin, Vocals & Guitar with Chris Rival on lead guitar, Tom West on keyboards, Scott Corneille on bass and Jeff Allison on drums) come up with a terrific mix of “live, powerful swamp groove music” that’s innovating while remaining faithful to the identity and the spirit of each of the songs being played.
