Driftwood (The 309 Sessions) is the follow up album to Richard Lindgren's previous critically acclaimed release entitled Grace which was his fifth studio album. In 2012 Richard received a songwriter award from the Live at Heart organization. Live at Heart is not only Sweden's biggest music festival, it's also the biggest showcase in northern Europe. A little time later after a one week stay at a nice hotel to write some new songs and a few days in a studio to record, here's the result. Driftwood (The 309 Sessions) is a beautiful collection of six new originals and includes the traditional folk song I Wish I Had Someone To Love Me and a take of the Mississippi John Hurt classic Make Me A Pallet.
