A Man Called Otto

A Man Called Otto is a 2022 American tragicomedy directed by Marc Forster. The film centers on Otto Anderson, played by Tom Hanks, a bitter and lonely 63-year-old widower struggling to come to terms with the loss of his wife. His grim daily routine is disrupted when a vibrant young family moves in next door. Their presence, especially the direct and temperamental Marisol (played by Mariana Treviño), sparks an unexpected, warm friendship that slowly draws Otto out of his isolation and restores meaning to his life.
