Comedy drama based around the lives and loves of the manager and staff of Empire Records store, which has one day to fight off a corporate takeover. Manager Joe has to keep together his band of misfits; Mark, trying to start up a band, Corey, trying to lose her virginity, Debra, who has just shaved her head. plus a 15-year-old shop-lifter, and a personal appearance from teen idol Rex Manning.
