Director's cut of the American sports drama starring Al Pacino, Cameron Diaz and Dennis Quaid. The story focuses on the Miami Sharks, an American football team currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak which has brought team president Christina Pagniacci (Diaz) into conflict with veteran coach Tony D'Amato (Pacino). When injuries force third-string quarterback Willie Beaman (Jamie Foxx) into action he enjoys instant success but begins to overrule the coach and clash with teammates. Battling both the increasing pressure exerted by the power-hungry Christina and the disrespect he is receiving from the arrogant Willie, Tony knows it's going to be a struggle to get the team in shape to succeed in the playoffs.
