Miss Congeniality

Sandra Bullock stars in this action comedy directed by Donald Petrie. When the Miss United States beauty pageant receives a threat from a known domestic terrorist, FBI agent Gracie Hart (Bullock) is assigned to go undercover as a contestant in the competition and prevent an attack. Gracie is not thrilled with this development and proves to be a difficult student when pageant coach Victor Melling (Michael Caine) arrives to transform her from a tomboy into Miss New Jersey. However, after she enters the pageant, she forms a strong bond with her fellow contestants and fears for their safety as the suspect continues to elude arrest. The cast also includes Benjamin Bratt, Candice Bergen and William Shatner.
