CLOSE YOUR EYES is the English-language counterpart to ionnalee’s Swedish album BLUND, released simultaneously on September 13, 2024. Two albums share the same core songs but offers a distinct difference in song meanings, clarity and emotional immediacy. Built on sparse electronics, atmospherics and ionnalee’s unmistakable vocals and poetry, the album explores lucid dreaming and the contrasts between hopes, dreams and reality and takes the dream pop genre to the next level.
