Angelica Matveeva, a 25 y.o. singer and composer of Russian-Armenian origin that moved to Sweden from Moscow four years ago and started reading Swedish poetry two years after having lived in Stockholm. In her debut album Angelica has composed music on poetry of legendary Swedish poets Karin Boye, Lars Forssell, Gunnar Ekelof and others.The style is an emotionally powerful blend of jazz with a fair dose of melodramatic pop and a touch of the Swedish ballad tradition
