Hinter dem Namen verbirgt sich der renommierte, norwegische Studio-Crack Ole Michael Bjørndal der bereits als Gitarrist für Bands wie Oak, Airbag oder der Bjørn Riis Band aktiv war. Für sein Solo-Debüt 'Magnified As Giants' komponierte er die Songs, schrieb die Lyrics, übernahm die Vocals und Gitarren. Platz blieb dennoch für eine Clique renommierter Musiker aus dem norwegischen Progrock-Umfeld bzw. Bandmitgliedern von Wobbler, Airbag, Pymlico und Meer. Als Special Guest ist die norwegische Kirchenorgel-Legende Iver Kleive mit an Bord. Ganze vier epische Songs die als klassische Progrock-Landschaft inszeniert sind, mit Gitarren und Bass Elementen die an King Crimson, Pink Floyd oder Genesis erinnern, aber auch mit modernen Elementen bzw. Referenzen an Tool oder Opeth. Drei Formate bringt Apollon auf den Markt, davon eine limitierte, farbige Vinyl neben der Standard-LP und CD.
