We zullen nooit weten of Bart¾k en Moondog elkaar in de jaren veertig in de straten van New York zijn tegengekomen, maar op dit album geven Csaba Palota´ en Steve Arg³elles hen die kans. Wat we horen zijn studies voor Bart¾ks `Mikrokosmos' in de geest van Moondogs muzikale eenvoud, op akoestische gitaar en een percussieset bestaande uit `objets trouvÚs', op zo'n manier dat er een bijzondere harmonie ontstaat tussen woestijnblues, Hongaarse en Balkan volksmuziek, twintigste-eeuws minimalisme en hedendaagse lichte muziek.
