Aki Takase (piano) en Daniel Erdmann (saxofoon) waren leraar en leerling, maar werden collega's. Deze cd wijst op eigenzinnige wijze terug naar de geschiedenis van de jazz door middel van de meest persoonlijke verhalen, en al die tijd wordt hun spel gekenmerkt door duidelijke contouren, romantiek en spontaniteit. Hoewel de unisono passages precies worden gespeeld, gunnen de twee musici zich alle vrijheid in de improvisatie.
