Dit is een historische opname van een live-radio-uitzending van de Hongaarse premiÞre van BÚla Bart¾k's `Violin Concerto No. 2'. Het werd uitgevoerd in Budapest in 1944 door violist PÚter Szervßnszky met het SzÚkesf vßrosi (Metropolitan) Orchestra o.l.v. Jßnos Ferencsik. Dit is de eerste keer dat deze opname uitgebracht is. De geluidskwaliteit is niet ideaal, de uitvoering fascinerend.
