Cimbalom Unlimited

Miklos Lukacs is een bijzondere muzikant. Hij sloeg met zijn cimbalom nieuwe wegen in en gaf het instrument talloze nieuwe mogelijkheden. Het cimbalom wordt vooral gebruikt in gypsy-tradities, maar samen met Larry Grenadier (contrabas) en Eric Harland (drums) geeft hij het een plek binnen de jazz, zonder daarbij andere genres uit het oog te verliezen. Sommige composities zijn ge´nspireerd op Bela Bartok, terwijl andere verwijzen naar bijvoorbeeld de Indiase santur of de Perzische qanun.
