Ahol Az Okor Is Bort Iszik!

The common history of Aladar Csiszar and Magos Band started at the beginning of the 21st century when our lead violinist, Csaba Soos asked Aladar at a dance house performance whether he could join them to play. Some years later Csabi went on to learn the secrest of Aladars playing, then the following summer they accompanied dancers together in a folk dance and music camp. From that time on they performed together with Aladar Csiszar. This master-student relationship gradually evolved into friendship, they could perform together with Aladar Csiszar as their fellow musicians: violinists, viola-, double bass- and dulcimer players. Their primary aim is to give an authentic picture of this unique Hungarian, Romanian and Gipsy folk music with the help of our personal experiences and rich music collections.
