PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
COBI-1681 H.M.H.S. BRITANNIC Historical Collection 636 blocks Scale 1:700 Age group: 7+ The H.M.H.S. Britannic model is a unique opportunity to travel back in time and experience history first-hand. The sister ship of the Titanic, initially designed as a luxury ocean liner, the Britannic was converted into a hospital ship during World War I. During service, on November 21, 1916, the Britannic sank after hitting a mine, but thanks to a quick evacuation, most of the crew and passengers were saved. This model pays tribute to this legendary ship, which measured 269.06 meters long and 29 meters wide, and its deck hosted wounded soldiers and medical personnel. Built from 636 COBI construction blocks the H.M.H.S. Britannic is 38.5cm long and 12cm high in a scale of 1:700. It precisely reproduces the shape and body of the ship and numerous details, such as movable cranes, screws and rudders, which ensure authenticity and the possibility of a fun play experience. The set also includes an elegant display stand with a plaque, making it an ideal element for display in any room of the house. Building the model is pure pleasure thanks to the intuitive instructions based on simple icons and illustrations. The model does not require gluing or painting and all inscriptions and graphics are permanently printed on the blocks, which ensures longevity and resistance to intense play. The set does not use stickers, which also guarantees its high quality. It is intended for people over 7 years of age, and its careful workmanship will satisfy both younger and adult lovers of history and maritime history. The H.M.H.S. model Britannic is not only a great curiosity for your collection, but also a great way to show your passion while combining learning with fun. It is ideal for display in display cases or on desks while being a great complement to any room. • 593 high-quality elements • Manufactured in the EU by a company with over 35 years of tradition • The blocks meet the safety standards of products for children • Fully compatible with other brands of construction blocks • Blocks with prints do not scratch or smear and do not fade during play or under the influence of temperature • Clear and intuitive instructions based on illustrations and step-by-step directions • Model in 1:700 scale • Base and plate with the name of the ship • The set does not contain stickers, only durable prints are used Model dimensions (length x height): 38.5 cm (15.2") x 12 cm (4.7")
