Gangspil Live At Alice, Copenhagen

The duo Gangspil is Kristian Bugge (violin, vocal) and Sonnich Lydom (diatonic accordion, harmonica vocal). They are often joined by musician Marlene Beck (piano) at their domestic concerts. She is also playing the piano on this recording. Over the years, they have worked intensely and persistently with traditional music and many of the standard bearers of the traditional Danish music such as Karl Skaarup and most recently the Danish/American connection Dwight Lamb. This album Live at Alice Copenhagen shows that the traditional music is living and live in and outside Denmark.
