'The Graveyard and the Ballroom' shows off A Certain Ratio's legendary mix of angular, bass-heavy postpunk. Originally released in 1980 this album has been a collectors' item ever since its initial release on cassette. Produced by Martin Hannett, the album contains 14 tracks: 7 demo songs from a session recorded at Graveyard Studios in September 1979 and 7 songs from a gig at the Electric Ballroom in October 1979.
