The DVD was shot by film director/comedian/actor/writer & star of The IT Crowd Richard Ayoade. Richard s film directorial debut Submarine has collected rave reviews since its release earlier in 2011. Shot in a small comedy club by a director with a real visual flair CROOKED MAN perfectly captures the passion and vitality of Tommys inimitable live show. One of the stars of Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyres Comedy Roadshow, Tommy is second only to U2 when it comes to live ticket sales in Ireland. The Bovinity Tour culminated in three sell out shows to a total audience of 12,000 in the Marquee Cork. No other artist, Irish or international has ever managed to do this. With the Loose tour he broke all Irish box office records by selling out in venues across the country including a to date staggering 166 dates in Dublins one thousand seat theatre, Vicar Street.
