Columbia's work on this 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer is nice, save for a few instances of grain and dirt in the image. Otherwise, the picture quality on this disc is excellent with dark black levels and solid colors popping up bright and clear. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround in English. This is an aggressive, heavy soundtrack that often utilizes both the front and rear speakers. While this may not be a reference quality sound mix, overall it's bombastic and free of any hiss or distortion. Also included on this disc are English and Spanish subtitles, and a Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track in Spanish. Made Men sports a few nice supplements, starting with a commentary track by director Louis Mourneau and actor Jim Belushi. This is an informative and interesting - if sometimes slow and plodding - commentary which should please fans. Also included on this disc are some outtakes from the film, a TV spot and theatrical trailer for the film, and some talent files on the cast and crew.Made Men
