Thanasis Dritsas is geboren in Athene. Hij beÙindigde zijn middelbare schoolopleiding aan de Varvakeio Standaardschool. Hij studeerde geneeskunde aan de Medische School van de Universiteit van Athene en specialiseerde zich in cardiologie aan Guy's & Hammersmith Hospital, RPMS, Londen, Verenigd Koninkrijk. Naast zijn medische studies studeerde hij hogere theorie en compositie bij Kostas Kydoniatis en Yannis Ioannidis. Zijn muzikale werken als componist zijn nu uitgebracht op deze CD 'Searching For the Perfect Blue'.
