Auf nach Kopenhagen, der melancholischen Gitarrenmusik wegen! In der dänischen Hauptstadt warten Kashmir nun schon seit zehn Jahren auf (hochverdiente) kontinentale Aufmerksamkeit. Und einen besseren Grund als die Veröffentlichung ihres vierten Albums hat es dafür bisher nicht gegeben. In ihrer Heimat stürmte "Zitilites" direkt an die Spitze der Charts. So viele Dänen lügen einfach nicht. Also: Was bitte haben Starsailor, Coldplay oder Travis, das Kashmir nicht haben? Zweifler sollten das hymnische "Surfing the warm Industry" oder die Ballade "The Aftermath" anspielen. Und wer dann noch nicht überzeugt ist, wird mein Freund nie werden. (cs).
