101 Songs of Irish Rebellion

The set includes Paddy Reilly, Liam Clancy, Johnny McEvoy, Jim McCann, Frances Black, Patsy Watchorn, Ronnie Drew, Dolores Keane, and many more. Also included is a special souvenir CD commemorating the Songs of the Easter Rising 1916. Many songs have been written and sung about Ireland's long and troubled history and each Irish Rising and Rebellion has generated its own collection of rebel ballads. The songs that are featured here are just some of those that were sung during the time leading up to, and including, 'The 1916 Easter Rising', 'The War of Independence', 'The Civil War' and beyond.
