Ze heeft heel wat in haar mars, deze Canadese zangeres/pianiste/gitariste/bassiste. Ze zong en speelde bas bij David Bowie en The Cardigans, ze deed het voorprogramma van o.a. Tindersticks, Sarah McLachlan en Ron Sexsmith. Met The Summer Of High Hopes maakt ze haar Europese debuut. Een prima cd met sterke songs die vaak opgewekter klinken dan de tekst doet vermoeden. Ze deed de productie samen met ex-Shudder To Think en Guided By Voices-gitarist Nathan Larson, die zijn invloed ook als muzikant doet gelden.
