Assassin's Creed Shadows transports players to the rich setting of feudal Japan, anchored by a soundtrack that fuses traditional instrumentation with playful modern techniques. Production team Thunderdrum were tasked with bringing the redemptive story of legendary samurai Yasuke to life. Prolific and inventive, Thunderdrum found a kindred spirit in collaborator and vocalist Tiggs Da Author. A vital force in black British music, Tiggs inimitable flow and soulful delivery have seen him working with icons including J Hus and Stefflon Don, here lending a completely new dimension to the soundtrack.
