In a supremely sinister performance, horror legend Vincent Price stars as despotic magistrate Lord Edward Whitman, who cruelly persecutes the peasants of Elizabethan England on his merciless witch hunt. While trying to wipe out one coven, Whitman unwittingly curses his family to supernatural murder when a trusted member of his household is transformed into a vehicle of demonic vengeance.
