Following their well-received debut album in 2022, Dublin-based four-piece MELTS hook up with fellow countryman Daniel Fox of Gilla Band to produce its follow-up. 'Field Theory' doubles down on the sonic maximalism of Maelstrom, pushing the monolithic, pulsing krautrock basslines and guttural guitar screeds to fore.
