The Darwen Dancehall EP

The Darwen Dancehall EP is a new 4-song CD by Follow The Moths. We have this statement: Dear World, AAZ Records here again. Weve been sent more recordings by post. Previously we had a demo. It seemed to be from a group of four (we guess not young) men. They didnt tell us much and dont seem to do phone or email very much. Apparently all British but living in Australia. It seems to be dusty and quite remote where they come from. They mentioned regretted pasts, time passing and a large touring camper van. Sounded like they visit regional dusty halls playing whatever music they think will go down well but much prefer to play their own music. We liked what they sent. It reminded us (in a good way) of British indie circa 1980s. We sent them a small amount of money and they sent us some recordings a few weeks later which we quietly released last year as the Specimen EP. And now we have more. Four tracks that sound like they may have more than one singer and songwriter. They have a live sounding drum kit, guitars played through old amps and we think we heard the creak of an old floorboard somewhere. Perhaps they recorded this in The Darwen Dancehall. We thought Darwin Australia, but perhaps theyre hiding out in Lancashire? Let us know if you bump into them. Or let us know what you think and well try to pass it on. Love, AAZ Records.
