Mystifying murder muddling your mind? Have no fear, Sister Boniface is back. It's the mid 60's in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Great Slaughter and the social calendar is full. There's the Christmas Pantomime, the annual Scarecrow Festival, a surprise birthday ceilidh and of course the Quincentennial Celebrations. What could possibly go wrong? Plenty! The cast of Cinderella drop like flies, a killer scarecrow stalks the streets, a bucking bronco goes haywire, a femme fatale zip lines to her death on the set of Foxman, the local women call a general strike and to top it all the police embark on something called "Team Building". After all that, Sister Boniface (Lorna Watson) is grateful for a wholesome weekend away with the sisters, but even then, she is confronted by murder, with a smattering of nudity! Meanwhile Reverend Mother Adrian (Carolyn Pickles) is keeping a secret; the fate of their beloved St Vincent's Convent hangs in the balance.
