Lexie Noble's stable family life appears perfect from the outside. Living in Edinburgh with her accountant husband, Jared, in a house they share with their two small children, she's secure enough to sweat the small stuff - like whether their au pair is up to scratch. But this façade comes crashing down when Jared is attacked in the street and links to notorious gangster Cal Morris emerge. In order to save her family, Lexie's sucked into Cal's empire of organised crime, whilst trying to keep the police at bay.
