Escape Through Africa

In 1914, as the first world war begins, a British nurse, Anne (Linn Bjørnland), escapes an attack on her outpost in Africa. Desperate to escape the ravages of a war that seeks to engulf the world she needs to work out her plan.

Hunted by a German-led war party, and with help from her uncle, an Army Captain (Eric Roberts), and local warriors, she embarks on an epic journey across the African hill country. She must balance bravery with her pacifist ideals to deliver a native girl safely to her mother, reunite with her husband, and save a neighbouring outpost from a massacre.

A stunning story of compassion, hope and courage as Africa is challenged with a war it is has never before experienced.
