Being Serena is a documentary series chronicling tennis icon Serena Williams at a pivotal moment in her personal and professional life.

The series will document the athlete's pregnancy, her new marriage, the birth of her daughter and her return to the court. This project gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the life of one of the most decorated athletes in history as she works toward the 2018 French Open, her first Grand Slam event since her win at the Australian Open in January 2017.

Serena balances impending motherhood against her iconic athletic career and lets us in on her hopes, dreams, and anxieties ahead of this pivotal moment in her life.
