From Beyond

Cult sci-fi horror directed by Stuart Gordon in which a scientist gets more than he bargains for when he activates his latest invention. Dr Pretorius (Ted Sorel) and his assistant Crawford Tillinghast (Jeffrey Combs) have worked hard to develop a machine known as 'The Resonator', which is designed to expand human consciousness and awaken something approaching a sixth sense. However, the machine has awoken something far more horrifying: a dimension of deadly creatures ready to wreak havoc on the human race, beginning with Pretorius.
