Gator

Burt Reynolds directs and stars in this American comedy sequel which follows on from the events of 'White Lightning' (1973). Con artist Gator McKlusky (Reynolds) has just been released from jail when he is recruited by federal agent Irving Greenfield (Jack Weston) to go undercover and feed back intel about his old accomplice, Bama McCall (Jerry Reed), who is now a crime boss. Gator is reluctant to betray his former friend until he discovers that Bama is now heavily entangled with extortion and prostitution and is no stranger to murdering those who get in his way. Can Gator help to bring Bama to justice before his true intentions are revealed?
