The third Robin Hood film from Hammer, A Challenge for Robin Hood sees Barrie Ingham (The Day of the Jackal) donning the Lincoln green. When his cousin (Peter Blythe, Frankenstein Created Woman) frames him for murder, Robin must hide from the Sheriff of Nottingham (John Arnatt, Whistle Down the Wind) in Sherwood Forest. There, Robin assembles his band of merrie men, rescues Maid Marian (Gay Hamilton, Barry Lyndon), and plans his revenge. Directed by C M Pennington-Richards (Dentist on the Job), this action-packed adventure features acting support from Leon Greene (Adventures of a Plumber's Mate) and James Hayter (Gideon's Day).
