• When not playing the villains, the Cabal can be recruited as Adventurers, and you can also recruit Companions -- pets, servants or apprentices that assist you in battle
• Forbidden Creed sees you battle a cabal of Maladaar high in the mountains -- you must quell their forbidden magic before it threatens the very fabric of the world!
• The Event Card pool is expanded with a new Mountain setting and a Wandering Beast -- the Maladite Golem! -- and new terrain forms a frosty ruined keep with raised walkways and lots of cover, an ideal setting for a skirmish
• They are attempting to call upon the Ascendant, the disembodied spirit of a powerful Maladaar, but can your Adventurers command it instead?
• Maladum is a fantasy miniatures board game set in the kingdoms of Enveron, a prosperous continent on a distant world

This narrative expansion for Maladum takes you to the ruined keep of Duhn-Linn and introduces the perils of Forbidden Magic. All the new gameplay elements can be experienced through a new narrative campaign or integrated into your other games.
