John Mills and Rene Ray star in this British drama directed by William Cameron Menzies. Shortly after arriving in London to look for work, Eileen (Ray) witnesses a murder. She tries to fulfil the victim's dying wish by finding his brother and telling him what happened, but as she searches for him, she finds herself being targeted by the very gang responsible for the crime.
