London is the latest offering from London based singer/Songwriter, Candy Rose. Candy Rose is an unsigned signer songwriter who is well known for being an advocate for the homeless - having been homeless herself once upon a time. Candy got her fans involved in deciding which extra tracks to remix for the re-release of London and they can back with 2 favourites from her debut album, A Rollercoaster Love. London is being released with the official Shelter Logos on the disks going out to the shops and 50% of all sales of the tracks in this release will be going to Shelter - the Homelessness Charity. As one of the Ambassadors for the London 2012 Olympics, Candy is proud to have a song about her home city which she loves and hopes that many will come to love her home city as she does; and at the same time hopes to do good through her music for a cause that is very personal. A Little Bit more about Candy: 6th Annual IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) Finalist, Candy Rose writes/co-writes almost all her material and has many influences, from the Late Great Michael Jackson to Madonna to Nirvana to Alicia Keys and Fall Out Boy to name a few. She is an avid fan of Patrick Stump - so much so, she wrote a song for him - and has been tipped as one of the few U.K indie Artists to watch and keep listening to. Notorious for being camera shy and uninterested in fame, her music and lyrics have been striking the right chords since she hit the airwaves in 2009 with her début single So You Know. It was released on the 10th of August, 2009 and went on to stay at the number 1 spot of Vox Africa's Urban Fire show for 12 weeks - she stopped counting after the 12th week. Her début album, A Rollercoaster Love, was released on the 28th of September 2009. The album is a mixture of R&B, Dance, Commercial club, Modern Pop and rock; 'and stands out in a world of manufactured pop as an original record'.
