Horror directed by Mike Mendez and starring Steve Guttenberg. Colton West (Guttenberg) is an actor well past his prime whose career has been reduced to a string of low-budget sci-fi films. Not only have his glory days passed him by but he is also charged with assault. As he drives home after filming some scenes for what will be his final performance, Los Angeles is struck by powerful earthquakes which carve huge holes in the Earth. When fire-spewing arachnids then emerge from beneath and threaten to wipe out the city, Colton is forced to go to extreme lengths to try and find a way back to his family before it's too late.
