Wings of Desire

Wim Wenders directs and co-writes this romantic drama starring Bruno Ganz as Damiel, one of two angels who watch over the citizens of Berlin, listening to their thoughts. When he falls in love with lonely trapeze artist Marion (Solveig Dommartin), he dreams of becoming human. With the help of an American actor (Peter Falk), in Berlin to make a film about the war, Damiel achieves his desire.
