Debut album from Joan Wasser, who up until now has been used to playing five string viola in bands such as The Dambuilders and has performed on stage with Antony and The Johnsons and Rufus Wainwright's band. 'Real Life' is a record about achieving commonplace happiness, taking a breather from drama and Joan's emotive songwriting achieve relaying that to the listener perfectly.
