Auf dem Album verschmolzen Einflüsse brasilianischer Rhythmen mit nordamerikanischem Jazz und Funk sowie Musik aus der Ära des europäischen Barock und der Romantik, die ein Hörerlebnis wie die Fahrt in einem turbogeladenen, intergalaktischen Aufzug schufen. Zu den beteiligten Musikern gehörten Thomas Kini (bass) und Alejo Poveda (drums, percussion) sowie US-Jazz-Sängerin Roberta Davis.
