Brought together through their mutual appreciation of music, One Love explores the power of music and love, showing how both transcend the strongest cultural and religious barriers. A romantic drama with universal appeal, One Love is A Take 4 Production in association with UK Film Council and Baker Street. One Love's producers are Yvonne Deutschman, Shelaagh Ferrell and Bjorn Aarskog. Starring Ky-mani Marley the reggae musician son of Rasta legend Bob Marley, the remarkably versatile actress and singer Cherine Anderson and British actor Vas Blackwood, written by Trevor Rhone and directed by Rick Elgood and charismatic dread-locked renaissance Rastafarian and former member of Big Audio Dynamite Don Letts, One Love was one of the first feature films to portray Jamaica in a positive light and it will appeal to a teenage and family audience as well as anyone with an interest in Afro-Caribbean culture and music. This film boasts an impeccable soundtrack featuring some of the best names in reggae music including Sizzla, Sean Paul and Junior Kelly.
