During their tour of Australia and New Zealand in April 1964, Dusty Springfield, Gene Pitney, Gerry & The Pacemakers and Brian Poole & The Tremeloes stopped off in Melbourne and, while there, recorded a special for Australian television. The hour long show was only ever broadcast in Australia and has been unseen since 1964. The show, which has only recently come to light, has been licensed exclusively to Zone Records by Seven Network in Australia for DVD release. Shot in black and white, the show is commercially available for the first time ever and includes the following performances: Gene Pitney: Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa, If I Didn’t Have a Dime, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, I Wanna Love My Life Away.
