Diego Araujo writes and directs this gay-themed Spanish drama. Set against the turbulent backdrop of Ecuador's financial crisis in 1999, the film charts the relationship of teenagers Juan Pablo and Juano (Juan Arregui and Diego Andrés Paredes) after they meet at Juan Pablo's uncle's hacienda in the Andes. After Juano is taken in by Juan Pablo's family, the boys grow closer but keep their attraction for one another unspoken while they come to terms with their desires and sexuality.
