In Hankston, basketball is the only thing that matters as new coach Laura Mosbach (TERRY FARRELL, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) discovers when she takes on the girls high-school Lady Warriors team. But Laura has reckoned without the behaviour of her players parents. At best, they are rampantly ambitious for their daughters to succeed. At worst, they are abusive and violent, with punch-ups breaking out at games between parents from rival teams. With the Warriors on a losing streak, the parents demand that Laura cheat to win. She refuses and becomes the focus of a hate campaign.
