Konkoma

This contemporay Ghanaian Konkoma band harks back to the 70's and 80s music of Ghana. Komkoma have two highly accliamed Ghanaian musicians in the band: Alfred Bannerman and Emmanuel Rentzos, both have been active sonce the 70s and 80s with Osibisa and shared the stage with High Masekela, Bobby Womack and Peter Green. Bannerman's yout band Boombaya was prevously heard on Soundway Ghana's Special a rhythmic, funky track with a authiek feel that fans of the previous Ghana Sounds will surely like!
