Globe-trotting folk-rock musician Seth Lakeman returns to his Dartmoor roots for this, his powerful new second album. The charismatic, broody songs on this CD, inspired by the legends and landscapes of Dartmoor where he was brought up and still lives, allow Seth to demonstrate his singing and songwriting in a way which has not been spotlighted before. It is pure, raw energy, with passionate playing from Seth who was anxious to produce an album "Coming from folk but saying something new". He is joined by John Kirkpatrick's talented son, Benji, with Kathryn Roberts on back up vocals.
