Tense Japanese disaster movie from director Nobuo Mizuta. When a devastating earthquake hits Tokyo, the consequent temperature rise in the Pacific Ocean triggers the onset of a catastrophic typhoon, the like of which has never been seen in Japanese history. With the city's subway station engulfed by the deluge, it falls to the Tokyo Fire Department's elite rescue team to try to save the day. Arriving on the scene, they soon hear the rescue code - 252 - being hammered out. With time rapidly running out for the survivors, the team members realise they must risk their own lives in order to save those who are trapped.
