Nightmare

Starring David Knight (Across the Bridge), Moira Redmond (Freud), and Jennie Linden (A Severed Head), Nightmare is a tense and brilliant thriller from Hammer. Schoolgirl Janet (Linden), traumatised by her mother's murder of her father, returns home to stay with her guardian Henry (Knight) and nurse Grace (Redmond). There she is haunted by visions of a ghostly figure. Directed by Freddie Francis (Torture Garden), Nightmare is an unnerving psychological horror in the vein of Les Diaboliques.
